In general, the relationship between the individual and the environment governs the relationship of action and reaction, taking and response, influence and being affected. The strongest and most attractive affect the other, and this influence and being affected is permanent and continuous. Because of this action and emotion, personality traits are formed, and behavior takes a certain form, positively or negatively. And the longer the child’s presence in the environment for a longer period, the more and greater his influence will be, because the child’s personality sinks into that environment and is formed in its shadow. This influence can appear in various forms such as loss of feeling, deviation, loss, intellectual retardation, or a change in behavior or wrong actions. Essentially, the environment has an important role to play in detonating latent energies, nurturing them, drawing personality traits, dyeing them in a certain color, and directing behavior in a way that can affect the issue of heredity. In fact, the types of behavior and dealings arise from the mutual influences between the individual and the social environment.
Unfavorable environmental influences:
The environment may be inappropriate sometimes, and this means that it does not help the growth and construction desired by the educators, and on the contrary, it directs the individual towards a goal and a destination that contradicts what is intended.
