A person's secrets are considered part of his personality, and preserving them is one of his fixed behaviors and deep-rooted psychological motivations. Because he does not want anyone to infiltrate his personal being and observe his secrets, this would be an excuse to attack him, even with a word that harms the purity of his reputation or words that disturb his psychological security!

Therefore, a person is considered responsible for his secrets. He must lock them up and not allow his tongue to reveal them as much as possible. If a secret gets out, it becomes public and is no longer a secret. Then the individual will become a prisoner of the one who captured him and will be forced to turn to him for fear that he will betray him and reveal his secrets, and many people have fallen victim to blackmail. Because of their broadcasting their secrets to those who do not have honesty or piety to keep them... If you consider broadcasting your secrets to be an important matter for you, and you see revealing it to one of your friends as an outlet that relaxes you and provides you with energy, then we advise you to conceal four things from your friends and others: Because of the importance of keeping it secret, even if some do not consider it a secret, because disclosing them will cause many problems. And these four are:

1 - Everything related to your personality (your habits, your financial income, special situations, your valuable possessions, your relationships), some of your friends or acquaintances may change their outlook if they learn about any of that, towards jealousy and envy, or look at you with contempt, or they may use that as a weapon against you to expose you or shame you with it..., and then you will feel regret and anxiety, and recent studies have confirmed that about eighty-five percent of people regret revealing their private secrets to their friends.

2- Do not talk about your future goals and special projects at all. Because that will weaken your resolve to complete it. There are many hadiths narrated about this fact, including: On the authority of Imam Muhammad bin Ali Al-Jawad (peace be upon him) that he said: “Revealing a thing before it becomes strong corrupts it.” Modern science has reached this truth. Psychologists and neurologists have stated that when a person talks to someone close to him about his goals and projects that are still being planned and established, and then hears compliments and praise for his idea, the brain will secrete a substance called endorphins that make the person feel better. He feels comfortable and satisfied with himself, as if he had achieved what he dreamed of and aimed to achieve, then he becomes afflicted with a state similar to frustration and is accompanied by a state of inaction and laziness in completing his goal, and he may abandon it altogether. Therefore, psychologists advise not to reveal matters related to your future projects and to keep them secret until implementing it in reality.

3- Everything related to your family and marital life; One of the common mistakes is for a wife to convey what is going on in her house to her neighbor or friend, even what happens between her and her husband, and as soon as days pass and a quarrel occurs between her and that friend or neighbor of hers, anxiety and tension creep into this wife for fear that her neighbor or friend will reveal her secret. Men and women must remember what is going on inside their home and the situations and problems related to their family. Because it is considered one of the secrets, then revealing family problems outside the home may increase their expansion and aggravation.

4- Acts of righteousness and goodness. Sincerity is an important position in the life of a believer, and in order for sincerity to be achieved, acts of righteousness and goodness must be concealed. So that you do not become afflicted with the scourge of hypocrisy, arrogance, and dishonesty, just as concealment makes you feel happy as you provide goodness and giving to the poor or your friends who need your help without anyone knowing about it except Allah Almighty.
