The Arabic scholar Abbas-Ibn-Firnas invented glass out of the stones, water clock, the first ink pen in the history, and he invented medical glasses.

But people only mention his attempt to fly, and falling on the ground near the Rasafa palace. Which didn’t cause his death and lived his life until the age of 77.
