If you want your son to be the person who makes his way in life with confidence and determination, overcomes difficulties, achieves his goals and becomes a successful person in the future, then you must follow the following commandments:
First: Let him depend on himself
Know that a child cannot depend on himself unless you make him trust himself and his abilities first, and this can only be done through practice and experience, and in various issues and matters, whether small or big.
Second: Encourage your children abundantly and do not be stingy
Encouraging people and children, and praising their virtues gives them hope and fills them with happiness, so why should we be stingy with that, at a time when this matter does not cost us anything but moving the tongue for a few seconds.
Third: Make them into iron people!
A successful father is one who raises his children with a strong iron will. There are several ways that help a father build willpower in his son, the most important of which are:
The first way: Do not respond immediately to all his requests, in addition to not giving him everything; as the child must get used to patience.
The second way: Accustom your children to the qualities of the righteous, such as asceticism, patience, forbearance, fasting, and prayer.
The third way: Teach your children to hardships.
The great benefit of teaching children hardships and patience makes them leaders, symbols and role models for their peers in this difficult life.
Fourth: Plant a positive spirit in your children
Success in life depends on optimism for good, and always looking at things with a positive spirit. Optimism for victory and hope for triumph are essential for every work that a person wants to accomplish.
Fifth: Create high ambition in their souls
In order to reveal the essence of men and know the value that distinguishes them and places them in the ranks of the greats, look at their ambitions and look forward to their goals. The greatest and highest ambition that we must plant in our children is the ambition to win the afterlife.
