Imam Ali (PBUH) said: If one of you desires to know his standing with Allah he may evaluate his situation in relation to his sins against Allah, such is his worthiness to Allah, the Blessed and Exalted.

European eels go through several easily recognizable life stages on their journey to adulthood. As larvae, eels are known as leptocephalus because of their thin heads and wider bodies that give them a leaf-like shape, but as they age, the animals become longer and thinner. As their bodies become larger and more translucent, the fish become known as “glass eels.”

European eels are fish with one pair of small pectoral fins and long, snake-like bodies.

As catadromous fish, European eels spend most of their adult lives in freshwater rivers, streams, and estuaries before returning to the open ocean to spawn and lay eggs. As young larvae, baby eels drift around the sea for between seven months and three years.

Cautiously, these animals proceed through the desert, using adaptations to outmaneuver predators and make due with little resources. If you walk along a trail or road at night, you are likely to see some of these rodents scurry or bound across your path.

The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his progeny) said: Do not look at the minuteness of the sin, but see Whom you have sinned against.

Imam al-Baqir (PBUH) said: He who obeys Allah is a lover of us, and the one who disobeys Him then he is an enemy for us (Ahl al-Bayt)

The kangaroo rat has keen ears to detect the approach of snakes and other predators. Their large, sensitive eyes also allow them to see through dark nights. In the event that these small mammals are snatched up by a predator, there is a decent chance that they have already passed their genes onto the next generation. Their tenacity and quick reproduction help ensure that there are plenty of these little critters around, even if some unlucky ones fall prey.

Imam as-Sadiq (PBUH) said: Verily, we love those who are wise, perceptive (intelligent), learned, forbearing, patient, reliable, and faithful. Surely, Allah, Almighty and Glorious, favoured Prophets with high morality. Then, he who possesses them may praise Allah for them, but he who does not have them may weep unto Allah, the Almighty and Glorious, and ask Him for them.

Imam al-Sadiq (PBUH) said addressing his followers: (Behave) to be as ornaments for us and not to be against us as shame. Tell people of goodness, and protect your tongues and hold it from excessive talk and offensive speech.

Imam al-Sadiq (PBUH) said: Verily everything is intimidated by a believer because the religion of Allah causes him to be powerful, and he is not intimidated by anything, which (epithet) is the characteristic of any believer.
